AAT Diploma Books

Kaplan Publishing produce a number of standalone AAT books for the AAT Diploma pathway.  Our dedicated authors and many years of experience producing AAT books have ensured we are an approved AAT study material provider for the AAT diploma pathway.

The Diploma pathway is based on the same standards as the NVQ/SVQ pathway and also consists of three levels – Certificate, Advanced Certificate and Diploma. It is suitable for learners who:

• Are not working in a finance environment
• Are unable to or choose not to provide work based evidence
• Don’t require the NVQ/SVQ certification

Compared to the NVQ/SVQ pathway, the Diploma pathway is more streamlined and flexible and differs as follows:

• Diploma units are assessed either by an exam or a skills test, not both
• Skills tests are assessed by simulation only, not work based evidenc
• The building of a portfolio is not required
• It includes a unit on Professional Ethics and a compulsory Cash Management and Credit Control unit
• You will be awarded an AAT certificate for each level rather than an NVQ/SVQ certificate
