AAT Study books for the NVQ/SVQ Pathway

Kaplan Publishing (previously known as Kaplan Foulks Lynch) provide approved AAT study books to students choosing the NVQ/SVQ pathway every year.  The NVQ/SVQ Pathway is the traditional route to achieving the AAT Accounting Qualification.  It consists of three levels – Foundation, Intermediate and Technician. It is suitable for learners who:

• Are already working in a finance environment and can provide work based evidence
• Require the NVQ/SVQ certification
• Are eligible for government funding

Assessments are carried out through a combination of skills tests and more formal exams along with work based evidence. The skills tests are assessments of your ability to carry out practical activities and to operate effectively in the workplace. This may include evidence of skills gathered in your workplace or through carrying out voluntary activities such as acting as treasurer for a local club.
