Job Title: Content Specialist, Tax Stream

Responsibilities:

• Updating, technical checking, and whatever else is required to produce material for ACCA papers F6 and P6, AAT Units 18 and 19, CAT paper 9 and ICAEW Principles of Tax (PoT).
• Teaching (largely ICAEW advanced stage) in Nottingham

Experience (relevant):

• 2008 - present: Current role as Content Specialist (broken by 9 months maternity leave)
• 2005 - 2008: Tutor  based in Nottingham centre, teaching F6, P6, Units 18 and 19, ICAEW tax  and advanced stage, ATT, CTA and occasionally bookkeeping.  Also had responsibility for managing ICAEW courses in 2006 and for managing ATT and CTA courses throughout time at Kaplan.
• 2000 - 2004:  Tax Assistant and then Assistant Manager at KPMG Nottingham working in Corporate Tax Compliance.  Qualified ATT in 2000 and CTA in 2002.

Profile:

• Married to Marcus for 8 years and have two boys - Josh aged 3 and Sam aged 1.
• I enjoy reading and film whenever there is time around the children!  I’m a member of a book club and try to get to the cinema when I can.
• I love good food and wine, Marcus is a great cook, so fortunately these are things I can enjoy at home!
• I’ve been a member of a thriving Nottingham church for the last 12 year
