Job Title: Content Specialist - Management stream

Responsibilities:

• Content creation for ACCA F9, CIMA Case study and ICAEW Case Study including both published and on-line material
• Teaching ACCA F9, CIMA Case Study and ICAEW Case Study in the Leeds and Sheffield offices

Experience (relevant):

• 2008 - present: Current role as Content Specialist
• 2003 - 2008: Tutor based in Kaplan’s Leeds office.  Taught courses towards ICAEW, ACCA and CIMA exams, primarily in case study style, business strategy and financial strategy papers (this included being the ICAEW Case Study subject head from Jan 2004 and being heavily involved in the TOPCIMA product, including mock authorship since 2006)
• 1999 - 2003: Training manager with PwC.  Roles included the management of internal training for trainee accountants in the Yorkshire offices,  a three month secondment to Zimbabwe identifying training needs and developing / delivering solutions to reduce risk and improve morale, and  a six month secondment into the external “Client Training” department, developing and delivering corporate training courses for top UK companies.
• 1995 - 1999: Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers Newcastle & Leeds.  Qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1998.

Profile:

• Happily married to Paul for 11 years with two fantastic boys, Jamie aged 7 and Sam aged 4.
• Hobbies include walking and cycling, photography and card making.  Also loves travelling when time and money permit!
• School Governor and active member of the school PTA (in addition to the role of treasurer, Zoe organises the annual village ball for approx 200 people every January, raising around £4,000 for the school)
