The ACCA Essentials Module consists of 3 papers

P1 – Professional Accountant
P2 – Corporate Reporting
P3 – Business Analysis

Each paper is examined by a 3-hour paper-based exam with 15 minutes reading time. The examination is held twice a year and split into two sections; Section A is based on a compulsory case-study style question, worth 50%; Section B comprises of a choice of 3 questions worth 25% each, of which 2 must be answered for the remaining 50%.
